The Seattle Women's Golf Association was formed in 1927 by a group of women led by Mrs. Elizabeth Dwan. They met in the old Frederick and Nelson lounge to hammer out the details of forming a women's golf association. Except for a few years during WWII, we've been in continuous operation, run by a group of dedicated volunteers. 

 

Fourteen golf clubs comprise our association, and we are over 500 members strong!

If you are a member at one of our participating clubs, and a member of your club's women's division, you can join SWGA! We have individual and team competitions, and all our member clubs take turns hosting events. You can play on some of the finest courses in the Northwest, and build lasting friendships.
