Cori Kirkpatrick, 1948-2021.
We are sad to announce that Broadmoor’s Team Captain, Cori Kirkpatrick passed away unexpectedly in mid-April. Cori was a passionate advocate of SWGA, and was instrumental in bringing Broadmoor back to SWGA after a brief hiatus.
Cori was an incredibly gifted athlete, and excelled in tennis and golf, her true passion. She was a ferocious competitor, gracious in both victory and defeat. She always embodied the core values of golf in everything she did. Integrity was her north star, and she inspired countless others to pursue their passion. We will always remember how Cori’s disarming smile and unflappable leadership lifted us up whenever we were in her presence.
Cori’s family, including her husband John and their three adult children and 8 grandchildren have lost their beloved matriarch. Our friends at Broadmoor are reeling from their loss. Let us hold them close in our thoughts as they adjust to this difficult transition.
