Jamie Huo wins 2018 SWGA City Championship [Seattle, WA June 21, 2018]

Jamie Huo of Fairwood defeated Tomoko Ratzlaff of Sahalee in the final round of the Seattle Women’s Golf Association City Championship. Huo won her match on the 33rd hole of the 36-hole championship finals 4&3. Huo is a recent graduate of Seattle University, where she played on the women’s golf team.


Seventy-two golfers from 14 clubs participated in the 4-day tournament at Sand Point Country Club. Jamie Huo won low gross of the field on Monday’s qualifying day with a 1-under par 71. Crystal Baker of Glen Acres and Pamela Pinney of Sand Point tied for low net of the field with a net 65 on qualifying day.

Flight 07: Katie Dermody of Sand Point defeats Leslie Byrnes of Overlake 2 Up.

Flight 08: Porsche Everson of Glen Acres defeats Barbara Bacon of Rainier 5&4.

Flight 09: Mandi Counter of Sand Point defeats Carol Artz of Fairwood 20th Hole.

Flight 10: Kathy Ellis of Rainier defeats Karen Santa of Glendale 4&2.

Flight 11: Shane McTaggart of Sahalee defeats Tracy Quigley of Sand Point 4&3.

Flight 12: Doris Rogers of Rainier defeats Kathleen Barth of Glendale 3&2.

Flight 13: Angie Budinich of Sand Point defeats Lisa Ziccarelli of Meridian Valley 2 Up.

Flight 14: Pamela Pinney of Sand Point defeats Cameron Cassidy of Overlake 8&6.

Flight 15: Jill Gracia of Bear Creek defeats Roxanne Koch of Inglewood 3&2.

Flight 16: Narty Romberger of Plateau defeats Anni Shelley of Sand Point 19th Hole.

Flight 17: Brier Begnaud of Overlake defeats Gina Abernathy of Glen Acres 2 Up.


The Seattle Women’s Golf Association is comprised of fourteen clubs from around the Seattle area. In existence since 1927, the organization supports competitive amateur women’s golf by hosting team competitions, individual competitions, and an annual city championship for member clubs.
